The night poured its heart out upon Emmett and Brendan as they search for a mysterious cross that was stolen by a man name Tater. He was last seen traveling towards the industrial warehouse district near Clarksville.

“Hey Brendan!” screamed Emmett over the rain. “Come on, let’s go! We have to head over to the other warehouse before we get lost and drenched!”

“I hear yea’!” Brendan screamed back.

The rain smashed them in the face as they both came together and ran over to the next warehouse. It was an older styled brick warehouse, with wood boards covering over the windows. There were no signs of life in or around it.

“Alright you ready to head in?” asked Emmett.

Brendan nods and head towards the main steel double doors. They check to see if the door is open and find that they were unlocked and slide open with a little effort.

Brendan looks around into the dark warehouse, unsure of what could be inside. He stops and looks around for a rock outside and throws it in. It echoes as it hits the floor. There’s no response from the inside.

Brendan continues forward and attempts to try and find a light switch on the adjacent wall.

“… Where the hell is…”

He’s lucky enough, and finds a small light switch, which when turned out, the light flickers on like they haven’t been used in years.

“Well at least we have some lighting at least...” mentions Emmett.

The room was scattered with broken down automotive and tools. After searching a few of them they don’t find anything of use besides a few lighters, canned foods, and other gear. However before leaving Brendan protests to checking another vehicle to see what he could find. Unsure of the time, Emmett disagrees but quickly looks at the vehicle in question and says all right to the idea.

The thunder from the storm sounds loud into the warehouse. It’s happened before but this as soon as the sound calms down, other sounds can be heard from outside. They rush to turn the lights off, but quickly instead head to find around the corner where another car was.

Voices can be heard from the outside and more so once they hear footsteps entering through the door. Seconds later the footsteps are heard again and then disappear into the rain. They look up to see if they are still currently there and find nothing but wet shoe prints on the floor.

“We’re being followed… Are they the ones who wanted us for dead this morning?” asked Emmett.

“Not sure but it seems there are two of them and might even be armed… We need to be careful but at the same time we have to find Tater and get the cross!” remarked Brendan.

“Amen to that. Let’s get going then!”
